Since I began weaving on a loom,
the organization of thousands of threads
has been a subtle, barely visible, place
where I would play with numbers.
Beginning with the calculations to find out
how many yards of string were needed
to weave a piece of to fabric
and leading to a meticulous numeric code
developed to arrange the sections
of dyed threads.
In this new series of works, my interest in math
has begun to take on geometric forms.
